See me

Turn stacks of marked papers into targeted support plans. No students forgotten.

Background
Teachers spend countless hours marking assignments, but struggle to turn that effort into actionable insights about their students' learning. After marking a stack of papers, teachers often rely on gut feeling to identify which students need help, worrying that some might slip through the cracks.
After I mark, I cannot pinpoint and I only know generically. I’m worried that some students may slip through the cracks.— Teacher
We don’t track in terms of how students fare for each question because it is very tedious— Teacher
Teachers want to spend more time on student development, but the current approach to analysing class performance is time-consuming and imprecise, leaving less emphasis on the diagnostic work that could truly help struggling students.
From Scripts to Insights
We built See Me, a tool that transforms marked student scripts into clear, actionable insights for teachers.
1. Teachers upload question papers, marking schemes and marked student scripts

2. See Me automatically generates a comprehensive dashboard showing class performance patterns.

Identify root issues across students

Form intervention groups for students with similar mistakes

What Teachers Are Saying
We piloted See Me with Beatty Secondary School, with focus on Chemistry and Geography. The tool successfully identified specific learning gaps, and teachers found the intervention groupings particularly valuable, noting that it's usually difficult to group students based on common mistakes.
I like the combination of topics that need improvement and the suggested intervention groups; If we don’t have time to sit and do a thorough analysis, I will know these are the key areas— Teacher
With See Me's analysis, teachers can now provide targeted supplementary support to students making the same types of errors.
I will zoom in on the common misconceptions which are quite helpful. When I go through with the class, I will point out these examples and that I saw some students writing these.— Teacher
Moving beyond the Pilot
We found early success with the pilot amongst the Geography and Chemistry teachers. We will continue to work with Beatty Secondary to move from testing on past papers to live classroom use, starting with the upcoming weighted assessment in March. We’re also expanding beyond just Chemistry and Geography to see whether our approach works across different subjects.
Ultimately, the bigger goal is to take this beyond just one school. We plan to pilot with additional schools across Singapore, learning how different teaching styles and school contexts affect how teachers use these insights. The vision is simple: when teachers can quickly see exactly where their students struggle, they can provide targeted support that meets each learner where they are. This means more students get the help they need, fewer fall through the cracks, and classroom time becomes more effective for everyone. See Me isn't just about better data - it's about better learning outcomes for every student.

Acknowledgements
We're deeply grateful to Beatty Secondary School and their dedicated educators for generously sharing their time, insights, and real classroom experiences with us. Your honest feedback about the challenges of student assessment and your willingness to test See Me with actual examination scripts were invaluable in shaping this tool.
