A lightweight links-listing generator for government users that makes sharing multiple official links simple and mobile‑friendly.

Opportunity — What problem are you working on, and why does it matters?
Government users often need to share a set of related links in public communications, campaigns, or resources pages. Today, one way to publish a public‑facing page of links is by creating a full Isomer website, which requires additional compliance steps like privacy statements and terms of use and can take several days from start to launch. FormSG is sometimes used as a workaround, but it isn’t designed for presenting a curated list of links and can feel awkward or inconsistent for this purpose. These alternatives add unnecessary friction when what’s needed is a simple, lightweight page of links that can be shared instantly.
Link listing should be simple, but current options aren’t
While the official Singapore Government short link service (go.gov.sg) enables secure, trusted links for communications, it doesn’t provide a way to present multiple related links together as a single public‑facing page. Public officers often resort to using other services or building a full website on Isomer when all they need is a simple index of links. These workarounds can slow down communications, require extra approvals, and distract from the core objective of getting information into citizens’ hands in a clear and timely way.

Editing a PolyGo link list page: Users can customise the handle, summary, website, and the list of links before saving
In response to this need, we built the PolyGo link listing page MVP. The MVP is accessible at tree.go.gov.sg (TreeGo) and enables government users to quickly create a public page aggregating multiple official links without the overhead of a full website launch. Users log in via Go Studio (studio.go.gov.sg) to name their links page, add and order links, and set custom link titles and icons. The resulting link listing page is mobile‑friendly and publicly accessible, making it easy for citizens to see all related links in one place.
Core features built so far
Customisable page title and link titles
Add, reorder, and assign icons to links
Mobile‑friendly public link list pages
While the MVP enables users to publish lightweight link collections, we plan to extend it with collaborative editing capabilities and analytics in future iterations to support team workflows and measure engagement.
Traction — How real people are using it, and what is happening as a result?
Although PolyGo’s link list feature has not yet been deployed for broad user testing, it has already generated positive interest from teams exploring lightweight link presentation tools. This early interest suggests that a simple, dedicated link listing capability could address a real need in the current ecosystem of government publishing tools.
Looking ahead
As we refine PolyGo and expand its feature set, we expect more teams and agencies to adopt it for campaigns, resource pages, and communications where a simple list of official links is needed. Planned enhancements like collaborative management and analytics will help teams work together more effectively and understand how citizens engage with their link collections.
