Supporting Singaporeans from all walks-of-life
Opportunity
It is expensive and laborious for the Singapore Government to execute public distribution programmes today, whether providing food support or giving away NDP fun packs. Let’s look at food distribution as an example:
Most constituencies use paper coupons and manual reconciliation every month. One programme for ~100 recipients costs ~$2.5k to engage printing vendors and ~5 hours to count, and another ~5 hours to walk the neighbourhood to pay merchants.
When Singapore Budget is released,
Firstly, which of the Government's benefits are best delivered to Singaporeans via a nationwide easy-to-use coupon system that can be digital and printed? (HINT: CouponSG can serve physical items and monetary payouts)
Secondly, do citizens know where to find all their benefits?
Velocity
We built a system that allows agencies to issue and manage digital coupons with controls that paper simply cannot support.

Traction
Agencies are asking 'how fast can they start'. CouponSG’s impact is strong and immediate:
Users get the support they need in their neighbourhoods - we’re talking about domestic workers easily collecting lunch for bedridden elderly under their care, and families walking to nearby coffee shops for meals.
Merchants can easily join in - quick onboarding to any government programme, and the ability to easily check how much they should be paid for the meals or items they have given out.
Administrators benefit from flexible utilisation controls (12+ configurable rules) and a much-reduced operational burden while still maintaining tight oversight over programme efficiency and financial reconciliation.
